Cedar Waxwing

"Cedar Waxwing" pastel on 500 grit sanded paper, 8 x 10. Was in the waiting room at the doctor's office the other day and saw a whole flock of these playing with the dried berries in a tree outside the window. They are magnificent birds who are year round residents of the northeast, though not many people recognize them. Pity, they are beautiful.
